Haydon the Womble takes the Ice Bucket Challenge
AFC Wimbledon’s mascot Haydon has taken the Ice Bucket Challenge, getting soaked by not one but six buckets of cold water.
Always keen to support charity campaigns, Haydon took the challenge at half-time on Saturday, 23 August. He nominated three of his mascot friends to do the same.
The Ice Bucket Challenge is raising awareness of motor neurone disease (MND), known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in America. To make a donation in the UK, text ICED55 £5 (or another amount) to 70070 or donate online.
